About us

We are an organisation here to support survivors, current, or past victims of domestic abuse. Each one of our staff has an understanding, whether that be due to personal experience or training, and are committed to helping those in need; providing a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on.

We will offer appointments digitally or face to face, depending on how you feel for the first few sessions. We also offer weekly welfare calls, a hand to hold when going through any legal procedures, and any immediate help that may be required, either financially or emotionally.

If you are ready to leave your situation, we will provide aid and support. If you are not ready to leave, we are still there to support you in any way without any judgement .

Our story

After going through a domestic situation myself, I soon realised that although there were some great services available to me whilst going through my trauma, there was nothing to help me or support me afterwards, and also through the process of Police interviews and Court hearings. So, I decided that I will be here for those that need a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand or just someone to talk to. We are here for everyone and anyone that is going through a hard time. We are here to fight your corner and remind you, that you can do it!

What makes 'Despite All The Odds' special, is that we offer a long term friendship and extended family. We will support for years, if needed, not just a few weeks.
